Össur knee braces
Berkshire Physiotherapy are proud to be working in association with Össur as a regional partner to supply a knee brace assessment and fitting service for a range of conditions, including Osteoarthritis (OA) and ligamentous instability, particularly for the Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL).
Recent research demonstrates that the Unloader One reduces pain, improves function and decreases the use of pain medication for mild to severe uni-compartmental Osteoarthritis.
The Unloader One® (pictured) is a comfortable, lightweight brace that provides excellent suspension and unloading leverage of the affected part of the knee. Colour-coded Quick Fit Buckles simplify application and removal, while flexible shells and breathable liners, coated with Össur Sensil® Silicone improve comfort and reduce migration, helping to ensure patient compliance.
Benefits of the Unloader one:
- Uni-compartmental knee conditions requiring load reduction, such as Articular Cartilage Defect Repair, Avascular Necrosis, OA or Tibial Plateau Fracture
- Suitable for all non-contact activities and sports
- *Some health care providers will fund the Unolader One

- ACL, MCL, LCL, PCL, rotary and combined instabilities
- All activity levels
